The conference will start on Wednesday, 6 May 2009 and will end on Friday, 8 May 2009. An optional full day excursion to Hydra is scheduled on Saturday, 9 May 2009.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 14 December 2008

Notification of acceptance: 11 January 2009

Deadline for full paper submission: 30 March 2009

Badges

Badges will be handed over at the Secretariat office to all registered participants during the working days and hours of the conference. Participants are requested to wear their badge for security reasons and for access to the meeting rooms and the social events.

Letter of Invitation

Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the conference may write to the Conference Secretariat specifying the necessary details. Please note this procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Conference. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Conference.

VISA

Depending on the country of origin a visa may be required.

It is highly recommended that all participants carry an adequate travel and health insurance, as the organizers of MEDIA 2009 Conference cannot accept any liability for accidents, illnesses or injuries that may occur at or during the conference.
